Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice – The Review

That’s how it starts. The fever, the rage, the feeling of powerlessness that turns good men… cruel. – Alfred

This morning, I decided to write a movie review. Can you guess what movie it is? It’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In my country, some theatres are only showing this one movie in all of their studios. Everybody has been waiting for this movie to be released for God knows how long, not me though because I am honestly don’t know about this movie until weeks ago. Shame on me.

The movie is starring Henry Cavill as the Superman, Gal Gadot as the Wonder Woman, and Ben Affleck as the Batman. I am sure that Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot are both eye candy to everyone, but I don’t see why they choose Ben Affleck as the Batman. I mean, come on, one more gorgeous cast to complete it all. I am also not satisfied with the girl who plays Lois Lane, I mean Ashley Greene, Katherine Mcnamara, or Emerade Toubia could be better cast. Maybe there are some criteria in the casts that fits the characters, I feel that I am not satisfied with the cast. I don’t know I mean they could be better.

On the beginning of the movie, I was very sleepy. It was just a whole lot background stories and conversations. The scenes that stole my attention were ones with loud thump from Superman’s uber cool landing move, then I would start focusing. Actually, I found it very sweet for a superheroes, like superman, that could love her mother on such a great magnitude. I was intrigued by the emotion that Superman showed. He could totally surrender to the evil Lex Luthor, who was played by Jesse Eissenberg just because he loves her mother that much. Believe me, I would totally burn this Lex Luthor to bits because he was really annoying. Jesse did a great job here.

Speaking about the fighting scenes, I totally hate the brutal fight between Batman and Superman, I mean come on Batman, you are human. Without those dirty tricks, no man could defeat Superman, I am team Superman by the way. I love Batman’s last suit though but honestly I didn’t know kryptonite could affect Superman in that way. The other exciting thing was when Wonder Woman came into the battle suddenly with those super cool defensive move. I mean she was uber cool with those lasso, bangles, sword, and shield. I wished I could watch more fighting scenes with Wonder Woman on it. The last enemy made me totally like “WHAT?!!”. It was too much, seriously. There are too many annoying and hyperbolic explosions to count. I hate the explosion effects from the last enemy.

No spoiler here but I hate the ending, seriously. By the way, there were some superheroes aside from them three. Please watch the movie to know who they are. I was not very satisfied with this 155 minutes movie, I mean it could be much better with more fighting scenes and more polished touching moments. I would give this movie 3/5 star. This review is only from my point of view, so take it easy guys.
