I always love Christmas decorations that can be seen everywhere in malls, eatery, or even coffee shop. I wanted to capture the Christmas decorations but I don’t want it to be captured in a mall, but in a coffee shop. After some time researching on my friends’ Instagram stories. I found there was this new coffee shop in Kelapa Gading that looked so spacious and the most important thing, the decorations are amazingly dense. What a delightful news for me. The name is Portafilter. I bet you guys all have heard or seen it, but I’ve just got the chance to visit it this Christmas. It’s Sunday afternoon and we were just having chit chat over coffee and photoshoot session at coffee shop near my neighborhood. We wanted to have something for dinner but not really main courses but maybe in smaller scale like dim sum or something like that. Speaking of dim sum, my bff knew a place near our neighborhood that served dim sum and the fact that it’s not a Chinese restaurant intrigued me. Hence, we went to the place called Kedai Abnormal. Don’t mistake this chain for Warunk Upnormal, it’s a different place with different owners. It’s located at Muara Karang Raya across B Steak. It’s not that easy to find but you can always look for container kind of thing with black paint. Continue reading “Kedai Abnormal – Muara Karang, North Jakarta”

To anticipate any dangerous events here and there, I was planning a short trip around my neighborhood. Continue reading “Oetara Coffee – Muara Karang, North Jakarta”
Jakarta was hotter than ever on previous Sunday. I mean you could literally felt the sun burning up your skin and that wasn’t nice at all. If I’m not mistaken, it was around 2pm. Because of the unfriendly weather, me and my BFF decided to hang out at the dessert cafe called BC’s Cone to chill ourself. I knew it’s not a new dessert cafe, but better late than never, right? We were lucky to be able to park just outside the cafe. PIK were so crowded at that time. I just couldn’t stop complaining about the traffic there. It’s getting worse.
