To be honest, although I have been living in Muara Karang, I don’t know that this new place exists, seriously. I just happened to pass in front of it after my meal in Pasar Muara Karang at lunch time. Seriously, they need to make the signage of the coffee shop bigger!! I mean who would see that small black signage in front of the dark grayish background. It’s only written “aya” with a tree as a logo. Personally, I was so in love with the design. Kedai Abnormal – Muara Karang, North Jakarta
It’s Sunday afternoon and we were just having chit chat over coffee and photoshoot session at coffee shop near my neighborhood. We wanted to have something for dinner but not really main courses but maybe in smaller scale like dim sum or something like that. Speaking of dim sum, my bff knew a place near our neighborhood that served dim sum and the fact that it’s not a Chinese restaurant intrigued me. Hence, we went to the place called Kedai Abnormal. Don’t mistake this chain for Warunk Upnormal, it’s a different place with different owners. It’s located at Muara Karang Raya across B Steak. It’s not that easy to find but you can always look for container kind of thing with black paint. Continue reading “Kedai Abnormal – Muara Karang, North Jakarta”
HOLYWINGS – Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta
It’s almost 8pm but me and my friends wanted to chill down, relax, and have some good drinks after rampaging Shao Kao at PIK. One of my friend knew a new and hip place where we could have all that. It’s Holywings. Actually, this place was quite famous and became a topic back then because they invited quite big singers like Raisa, Tompi, etc. But I didn’t have time to go there.
The Journey of Flower: The Review
The Journey of Flower: Ancient Drama Series. Full review available at andrewwiradinata.com
It’s totally not me for posting reviews about this drama series especially not a 50-episodes ancient Chinese drama series involving Kung Fu, magic and immortality but this one is different. The drama is called The Journey of Flower (花千骨 read: Hua Qian Gu). I just can’t express how thrilled I was when I find out about this series. This series kept me from moving an inch from my seat for days. I was like so into this drama series and fortunately I was able to finish it on the new year’s holidays.
